Design that Converts, Not Just Impresses.

UI and UX design for marketing sites, SaaS products, and e-commerce. Figma-first, conversion-tested, and developer-ready. We design to be built, not just to win awards.

What is it?

Web Design, defined

Web Design at Magnis AI is the discipline of designing websites and digital products that look credible, communicate clearly, and convert visitors into customers. We work in Figma, design system first, and deliver components developers can implement without ambiguity. We are not a brand agency; we are a product design team.

Who needs this?

You probably need this if any of these sound familiar

  • Companies whose current site looks dated or off-brand
  • Startups whose design holds the product back from looking serious
  • SaaS companies needing a marketing site redesign before a funding round or launch
  • Founders who have content and dev but need design to tie it together
  • Businesses with high traffic but low conversion because of UX issues

Overview

Web Design, the practice in summary

Design is a conversion lever, not a vanity exercise. Magnis AI designs for clarity, trust, and action. The best design is the one that gets out of the visitor's way and helps them do what they came to do. We measure design success in sign-ups, bookings, and purchases, not awards.

Capabilities

What we deliver

Each capability is a defined deliverable with clear inputs, outputs, and review gates.

Marketing Site UI Design

High-conversion landing pages, full marketing sites, and microsites in Figma. Built around a clear funnel from visitor to action.

SaaS Product UI/UX Design

Dashboard design, onboarding flows, settings, billing, and the full surface area of a SaaS product. Built for usability and brand consistency.

Design Systems

Reusable component libraries in Figma with tokens, variants, and documentation. Designers and developers share one source of truth.

Conversion Rate Optimisation Design

Heatmap-informed redesigns of underperforming pages. Hypothesis-driven A/B test designs that move metrics.

E-commerce Design

Product pages, collection pages, cart, and checkout designed for retail conversion benchmarks (3 percent+) and AOV growth.

Brand Refreshes (Light)

Logo touch-ups, colour palette refinement, typography systems, and brand guidelines. Not a full brand exercise, just enough to be consistent.

Framework

The Magnis Design-for-Conversion Method

Every design decision passes three filters before it ships: Does it make the next step obvious? Does it build trust? Does it remove friction? Design that fails one of those is iterated. Design that fails all three is binned. We are not designing for designers.

Methodology

How a typical engagement runs

Clear phases with explicit artefacts and review gates. Independent review at every phase boundary.

  1. 01

    Audit and Brief

Current site audit, brand review, competitor scan, target user definition, and conversion goals. Output: a tight design brief.

  2. 02

    Wireframe

Low-fidelity wireframes in Figma to lock structure and flow. Reviewed in one round before visual design starts.

  3. 03

    Design

    High-fidelity designs in 2 to 3 review rounds. Mobile-first. Production-ready, with components, states, and a developer-handoff guide.

  4. 04

    Handoff and Iterate

Developer handoff with Figma access, design tokens, and an open Slack/Loom channel during build. Post-launch CRO iteration on real data.

Common questions about Web Design

Do you do design only, or build too?

Both. You can engage Magnis AI for design only (Figma + handoff to your dev team), or design plus build (Magnis designs and ships the live site). Most clients do both because it removes handoff friction.

Do you do full brand identity work (logo, name, positioning)?

We do light brand work: logo refinement, palette, typography, and brand guidelines. For full brand strategy, naming, and identity work, we partner with brand specialists. Tell us the scope and we will recommend the right path.

Will the design work on mobile?

Yes. Mobile-first design is the default at Magnis AI. Around 60 to 80 percent of web traffic is mobile, so we design mobile first, then scale up. Every component has mobile, tablet, and desktop states.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Two structured rounds of revision per phase (wireframe round, visual design round). Additional rounds are billable but rare; tight briefs and weekly reviews keep us aligned.

Do you use templates or design custom?

Custom. Every site we design is bespoke. We use design systems and reusable components, but the design is yours, not a template skin. Templates kill differentiation and rank worse in SEO.

What tools do you use?

Figma for design, FigJam for collaboration, Loom for async feedback, Linear for project management. We handoff to developers via Figma with design tokens exported for Tailwind or CSS-in-JS.
